Terms of Service

APISwaps (the "Service") provides access to geo-mapping APIs from Google Maps Platform, Amazon Location Service, and Azure Maps. We provision API keys on your behalf, meter usage every 15 minutes, and bill you per-request at our published rates.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to register. You're responsible for the security of your password and API keys; revoke any key you suspect is compromised at /keys. Accounts that go inactive for 12 months may be archived.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Use the services in violation of the upstream provider's terms (Google Maps Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Scrape, cache, or redistribute provider data beyond what the upstream license permits.
• Resell or share issued keys with third parties.
• Circumvent rate limits, metering, or billing.
• Use the services for unlawful tracking or surveillance of individuals.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Egregious violations (fraud, unauthorized redistribution of keys) may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of remaining balance.

• The Service is prepaid: you refill a USD balance and we deduct as you consume tokens.
• Pricing is published at /services. Prices may change with 14 days' notice.
• Auto Refill, if enabled, charges your saved card off-session when your balance crosses your threshold. You can disable it any time at /settings/credits.
• We reconcile against Stripe every 5 minutes. Discrepancies, if any, are resolved in your favor.

See our Refund Policy for details. In short: refunds within 14 days of the original charge for unused balance, no questions asked.

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the gateway. We do not currently offer a contractual SLA on the Pay-as-you-go plan. Enterprise SLAs are available on request via sales@apiswaps.com.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amount you paid APISwaps in the 30 days preceding the incident.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of content returned by upstream geo providers.

You may close your account any time at /settings/privacy. Unused balance is refunded subject to our Refund Policy. We may terminate accounts for violation of these terms or for non-payment of negative balances.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware.

We'll update the "Last updated" date when these terms change. Material changes will be emailed to active users 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
