Billing & metering
Flat published prices
Every service has a flat per-request price listed on the Services page (e.g. Google Geocoding: $6.00 per 1,000 requests = $0.006 per call). There are no tiers, volume discounts, or free-tier passthrough. The price on the service page is the price on your invoice.
How metering works
APISwaps pulls usage data from the provider's usage APIs every 15 minutes. Each batch of usage is priced at the flat published rate and deducted from your account balance. There is no monthly settling — charges accumulate continuously from your first request.
Balance and refills
Your account holds a prepaid credit balance. To add funds:
- Go to Settings → Credits
- Enter an amount and pay via Stripe
- Your balance increases immediately
- An invoice is emailed to you for every refill
There is no subscription or minimum monthly spend.
Low-balance notices
When your balance drops below a threshold (configurable in your account settings), APISwaps sends an email alert. This gives you time to refill before your keys pause.
Key issuance fee
Buying a new key costs $10 one-time per key. This fee is separate from usage charges and is non-refundable after the key is provisioned.
Refunds
Unused account balance is refundable. See the refund policy for conditions and how to submit a request.
