FAQ
What exactly am I buying?
A working API key for the platform you choose, provisioned by our team and managed in your dashboard. The $10 one-time fee covers key issuance; usage is billed per-request from your balance at the flat published price.
Are these official APIs?
Yes. You receive a native provider key and call the provider's own endpoints directly. APISwaps does not sit in the request path — only the key comes from us.
How does billing work?
Usage is metered every 15 minutes from the provider's usage APIs. Each request is charged at the flat per-request price shown on the service page, from the very first call. There is no free tier or volume discount. Add funds via card in Settings → Credits; every refill generates an invoice. Your balance decreases as you use the API; keys pause automatically when balance hits zero.
When will my key be delivered?
After you buy a key, our team registers it with the provider and enables the requested services. This usually takes a few hours. You get an email when it is ready and it appears as Active in the dashboard.
What if I need a service that is not listed?
Contact support via /contact. The current catalog covers 25 geo services across Google Maps Platform, Amazon Location Service, and Azure Maps. We add services on request.
Can I get a refund?
Unused account balance is refundable. The $10 key issuance fee is non-refundable after the key has been provisioned. See the refund policy for full details.
Can I use the key in my production app?
Yes. Apply provider-side key restrictions (IP allowlist, HTTP referrer, API restriction) in the provider's own console to limit exposure. See Keys & provisioning for links to each provider's restriction docs.
